October 8-24. The I.A.G.A Gallery, 1 Victor Deleu Street, Cluj-NapocaThe profound changes in today's world have strongly influenced our search for an expended field of expression. Contemporary ceramic art, very sensitive to the change of artistic canons evolves towards an interdisciplinary and integrative strategy. The new concepts that are gaining ground attest a type of aesthetics with forms of expression specific to many other genres, the outcome being an ingenious and resourceful alchemy.
The 2nd edition of Cluj Ceramics Biennale will introduce the Romanian viewer to contemporary ceramic artists and contemporary practice in the field. The biennale will also get national and international institutions to work together with the aim of creating an environment for ceramics in the city of Cluj. The exhibitions and events will take place in October 2015. The organizer (Ceramart Foundation) thanks all it's supporting partners: Cluj Art Museum, University of Arts & Design, Cluj Fine Arts College and The Romanian Visual Artists Union
